Nine arrested for violating fire crackers guidelines

GUWAHATI: The Dispur police have arrested nine persons from various areas under its jurisdiction on Wednesday allegedly for bursting crackers violating the Supreme Court guidelines. According to a police source, the arrested persons were identified as, Sofikur Rahman, Dhanbar Bora, Biswajit Dey, Govinda Chakrborty, Ikramul Hussain and four others.
