No more extension of property tax cut: Guwahati Municipal Corporation

GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) will not extend its date for property tax reduction beyond December 31, 2022, sources in the civic body said.

GUWAHATI: GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) will not extend its date for property tax reduction beyond December 31, 2022, sources in the civic body said. Property tax defaulters who cleared their property arrears tax by December 20 got a 50 per cent reduction. Likewise, property tax defaulters who will pay by December 31, 2022, will get a 30 per cent reduction.
