Noonmati Police held two gamblers in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Two gamblers were held by the Noonmati Police during a special drive against gambling at Patharquary on Friday. The raid was conducted under the supervision of Sub Inspector Pankaj Pratim Mahanta. The accused have been identified as - Prasanta Boro, a resident of Bapuji Nagar under Noonmati PS and Nayeb Ali, a resident of Juripar under Noonmati PS. The police team recovered and seized teer tickets and Rs 2,180 from their joint possession. A criminal case will be initiated against them, stated the Noonmati Police.
