One killed in explosion at fire extinguisher filling shop in Rukiminigaon

GUWAHATI: In a tragic incident, a 36-year-old man lost his life after an explosion occurred at a fire extinguisher filling shop in Rukiminigaon on Tuesday.

The victim, Mridul Deka, was an employee at the shop and it was his first day at work during the pandemic. Following the accident, he was rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital by the Dispur Police personnel but he was announced brought dead. He was a native of Azara, Nalbari.
