GUWAHATI: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Dipika Deka is organizing Online Lecture Series.

The next lecture will be delivered by Dr. Anup Kumar Barman, Director Medical Education, Assam He was formerly Professor & Head, Department of Nephrology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati. Dr. Barman will be delivering a speech on the Topic – "Blood Pressure Targets in Chronic Kidney Disease & Diabetes" on September 5, 2020, at 3 pm.

The lecture will be chaired by Dr. Sangit Dutta, Professor & Head, Department of Medicine, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati and Dr. Nandita Choudhury founder Prof. & Head, Department of Nephrology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, Guwahati and former Principal, Assam Medical College and former Vice-Chancellor, Assam Downtown University. The Chief Guest of the function will be Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Pandey, Vice Chancellor of West Bengal University of Health Sciences. He is an eminent Nephrologist.

Diabetic kidney diseases represent a condition frequently detected in current clinical practice characterized by very high cardiovascular risk profile.
