Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) celebrates foundation day at Greenwood Resort, Khanapara

GUWAHATI: The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) celebrated its 49th foundation day with a daylong programme at Greenwood Resort, Khanapara, in Guwahati today.

The Board was established on June 2, 1975, by the Government of Assam under the provisions of Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1974. A host of eminent industry experts and administrators, government officials, and members of the PCBA fraternity attended the function to recapitulate the days gone by.
