‘Pravati Pakhi’ annual journal of Early Birds released in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: ‘Pravati Pakhi’, the annual journal of Early Birds, was released by Homeswar Kalita, principal of Guwahati Commerce College at the educational institution’s campus here on Saturday. Lauding the members of ‘Early Birds’ time for being active in preserving nature, he said, “Although everyone knows the danger that the Earth is facing, only a few are trying to rectify the situation.” He also narrated the activities taken by the college to involve the students in various nature conservation activities.

Among those who spoke on the occasion were Dr Satyen Choudhury, editor to the journal, Monaroma Das, Dr Sunali Burhagohain and Moloy Baruah, Early Birds president. Panchanan Barman, a teacher of the college and also assistant general secretary of Early Birds conducted the proceedings and also offered the vote of thanks, stated a release.
