P&RD Minister Naba Kumar Doley reviews ASRLM activities

GUWAHATI: Naba Kumar Doley, Minister Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, took a review on the activities undertaken by Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM). In the meeting he very minutely discussed the progress made so far under ASRLM and applauded the achievements done by ASRLM. He also directed to continue the efforts and reach to the community with maximum benefits with simple communication mechanisms.

He emphasized on the need to work with speed and efficiency so that the loss of time due to COVID-19 situation can be erased and SHG member leap back to action with more vigour. He also directed ASRLM to publish case studies and good practices in the print and electronic media. He added that the achievement of the rural women should get recognition in the National Platform.

The meeting was also attended by the Commissioner P&RD, Hemen Das and State Mission Director, ASRLM Krishna Baruah, stated a release.
