Pub Guwahati Bihu Sanmilan organized Bihu dance contest

GUWAHATI: Rituparna Das of Dibrugarh was adjudged first, and Ananya Phukan of Lakhimpur and Munukon Gogoi of Dhemaji were adjudged second and third, respectively, in the Axom Bihuwati competition organized by Pub Guwahati Bihu Sanmilan.

The Gumseng Bihu Husori troupe of Guwahati was adjudged the best Bihu Husori troupe in the competition. The second-best spot in this event went to the Habung Bihu Husori troupe of Dhemaji, and the third spot went to the Bihu Husori troupe from the 4th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara.

Rituparna Das also got the best dancer award at the competition, followed by Dhanishtha Deka and Nalbari and Austriyana Dehingiya of Dhemaji.

Nayan Bora of Golaghat got the best Dhulia award, followed by Biswajit Gogoi of Sivasagar and Dulumoni Bora of Golaghat.
