Public Enterprise Minister Rihon Daimary reviews performance of PSEs

GUWAHATI: Public Enterprises Department Minister Rihon Daimary today reviewed the mandate and accomplishments of the department and the performance of Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) of Assam. Dr. M. Ariz Ahammed, principal secretary to the Government of Assam, Public Enterprises Department briefed the Minister about the performance of 39 PSEs of the state operating under the control of 22 administrative departments. J.D. Thakur, Secretary, T.C. Saharia, Director i/c, and other senior officers attended the meeting.

In the meeting it was decided that the Public Enterprises Department will be organizing a one day brainstorming workshop for improving performance of PSEs of the State on 24th February, 2020 involving all the Chairpersons, MDs/CEOs and their team of officials of Finance and Accounts, Statutory Auditors and Company Secretaries, along with administrative departments.
