Publication Board of Assam To Organize Guwahati Book Fair from December 28

GUWAHATI: The Publication Board of Assam will organize the 33rd Guwahati Book Fair at AEI Chandmari playground from December 28 to January 8.

Secretary of the Board, Pramod Kalita said, “Like every year, this year too, we are concentrating on bringing quality books to the readers. As such, we have sent out invitations to various national as well as international publication houses. The response from their end is also positive. Last year, 11 publication houses from border country Bangladesh participated for whom we constructed a special pavilion. This served as a special attraction in the fair.”

Kalita further said that form fill-up for the interested publication houses who are willing to participate in the fair will be from October 10 to November 30, 2019.
