GUWAHATI: In a dramatic turn of events, the Guwahati police which has been probing the Rajkanya Baruah case, has, reportedly, served notices to the GNRC hospital authorities and Dr Navanil Barua who is a senior doctor of the hospital for admitting the model who feigned as unwell in the hospital.

After the medical board consisting of six senior doctors from the Guwahati Medical College & Hospital visited the GNRC to check the model's health and found out that she is fully fine, various sections levelled allegations that the GNRC authorities and Dr Barua tried to protect her from arrest by admitting her in the hospital.

It could be noted that model Rajkanya Baruah, who was a finalist of the Miss India contest 2016, of late injured 9 workers of the state PWD department. She was rearrested yesterday after the medical board constituted by the state government submitted their report.
