GUWAHATI: The Regional Science Centre, Guwahati has reopened its door for visitors from November 10 as advised by Ministry of Culture, Government of India after being shut down for over seven months.

The Science Centre was shut down since a nationwide lockdown was announced in March, 2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Opening time of Science Centre is 9:30 am to 5:30 pm for all days including Sunday. All the galleries, schedule shows like 'Science on a Sphere' and '3D film' and other facilities have been opened to visitors. The Fish Aquarium, Science Park, Dinosaurs Park, Echo Park, Medicinal Plant garden, Butterfly corner and all other outdoor facilities of Science Centre are also accessible to visitors.

"We are coming back to the visitors with the assurance of safe protocols which have been mandatory by the government of India. We will not allow anyone without mask. Visitors will be under thermal screening at the entry gate and they can have their sanitization dispensing machine at strategic locations," stated the Science Centre.
