Sadbhavana Yatra 2020: A message of peace & harmony

GUWAHATI: A youth Gandhian organization Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK) and National Integrated Forum of Artists Activists (NIFAA) Tripura branch have taken an initiative to celebrate the upcoming Golden Jubilee State hood day of Tripura.

On 1972, 21st January Tripura got the status of the full flagged state. The year 2022 is the golden Jubilee of Tripura statehood. With the objectives of Golden Jubilee of Tripura Statehood and Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th Birth anniversary, YVK and NIFAA designed various programs for the coming two years from 2020 to 2022.

Among the various discussed programs in the coming two years, North East Sadbhavana Yatra-2020 is the first programme to commence. The yatra was started from the Royal palace of Tripura, Ujjayanta Palace on 21st January 2020. This yatra was flagged off by the Governor of Tripura Ramesh Bais in presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Tourism Minister, Tribal Welfare Minister and several other dignitaries. Main motive of the Sadbhavana Yatra is to invite people from across North East to participate in various functions of Golden jubilee statehood and spread the message of peace, harmony and strengthen the brotherhood among the eight states.
