Shows held at Shilpgram Mahotsav in Panjabari

GUWAHATI: Shilpgram Mahotsav 2022, a national dance and music festival, is underway at the Shilpgram in Panjabari here, stated a press release.

The festival is being organised by the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, from January 17 to 20.

On the third day of the festival on Wednesday, students and artistes of Gandharba Kala Kendra, Guwahati presented Choreographic Classical Presentation of Guru Vandana, Borgeet and Xattriya; students of Luit Konwar Rudra Barua State Music College, Guwahati presented Vishnu Kotha and Xattriya and also a choreographic folk dance presentation of various communities of Assam. Finally, popular performing artiste Surekha Chetri sang contemporary songs of Assam.
