‘Social Waste and Plastic Waste Management’ Campaign organized at Guwahati

GUWAHATI: SB Deorah College in collaboration with Pollution Control Board, Assam organized an awareness meet on ‘Social Waste and Plastic Waste Management’ with special reference to air pollution at the college premises on Monday. The meet was presided over by principal of SB Deorah College Dr Dharmendra Nath. Renowned environmentalist, professor of Gauhati University, KG Bhattacharyya was present as the key note speaker, who said that lack of proper waste disposal ground is a major cause of concern.
