GUWAHATI: The Sadou Asom Prathamik TET Uttirna Shikshak Samaj (SAPTUSS) has expressed its deep gratitude to the Government of Assam for including TET-qualified teachers working under SSA (Samagra Shikska, Assam) in the state’s home loan facility scheme. The organisation lauded the decision as a long-awaited and significant step that will benefit thousands of contractual TET teachers across the state. SAPTUSS stated that this move would provide much-needed financial support, especially for teachers hoping to build a permanent residence.

Acknowledging the efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu, and officials of the Department of Elementary Education, SAPTUSS said the inclusion followed persistent appeals, including memoranda, meetings, and campaigns through various platforms. The association reaffirmed its commitment to cooperating with the government in its efforts to uplift the education system and called upon all TET teachers to continue serving with dedication.
