State Bank of India provides aid to old age home in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: State Bank of India welcomed New Year 2022 with the inmates of Gana Sarathi Old Age Home at Jyotinagar here on Monday, stated a press release.

In a ceremony organized by the Regional Business Office, Guwahati (Metro) of SBI at the old age home, the Bank donated utility items like Washing Machine, Refrigerator, TV, Inverter, Battery, Geyser etc.

The handing over ceremony was attended by Suranjana Dutta, General Manager (NW-I) of SBI NE Circle and Bikash Basumatary, Regional Manager, RBO-Guwahati(M) along with other officials of SBI and representatives of Gana Sarathi Old Age Home.

The donations were done under SBI's CSR initiatives for the benefit of the underprivileged sections of the society.
