State Finance department has sought supplementary demands

GUWAHATI: The State Finance department has sought supplementary demands from the departments if any of them needs additional budgetary allocations to meet the shortfall of the Budget Provision, 2020-21. The Finance department has also asked the departments to justify as to why they need additional budgetary allocations.

The four-day Assembly session is going to start from August 31, 2020. The State government will place the supplementary budget on the very first day of the session.
