State Food Minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury warns late comers employees

GUWAHATI: State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury paid a surprise visit to the office of the Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Assam office at Khanapara on Wednesday at 10 am. He, however, found only 2/3 of the 15/16 staff of the corporation. An enraged Minister stayed there for 15-20 minutes and left when no one came. After that, the employees who came late had to tender an apology before the Minister over telephone. On his part, the Minister warned the employees not to repeat it, especially when the State is under the grip of coronavirus. 2 hundred per cent attendance in office during Lockdown 4.0 has been made compulsory in the State.
