State unit of BJP to re-constitute all booth committees

GUWAHATI: The State unit of the BJP will re-constitute more than 26,000 booth committees under its jurisdiction within April next in line with the decision taken at the party's national executive meeting in New Delhi recently.

This was disclosed by party spokesperson Kishore Upadhyay here on Wednesday.

Upadhyay said that a wave of development has been witnessed in the North-East along with other parts of the country under the BJP Government. He added that the atmosphere of various agitations has disappeared in Assam under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
