Teer gamblers arrested from a shop at Gopal Nagar

Guwahati: A team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) from the Noonmati Police Station arrested six teer gamblers from a shop at Gopal Nagar here on Thursday evening. Police sources identified the arrested persons as Bhupen Saikia, Jayanta Saikia, Rupam Basumatary, Rajen Das, Rakesh Kalita and Md Asraful Islam. Rs 34,610 in cash and seven mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
