Three Thefts On The Same Day At Bangra

GUWAHATI: Altogether three thefts were reported at Bangra on Friday night, raising an alarm in the area. The Saturbhuj Xatra of Amartol, Bangra was ransacked as the thieves bared the temple idols of their gold ornaments and stole three pairs of brass taals. The second theft occurred at a Shiva Mandir in the area, where the donation box was broken into, while the third theft occurred at a personal mandir, the losses of which are still being calculated. Palasbari police are investigating the matter further.
