Two arrested with pistol by Gorchuk police

GUWAHATI: Gorchuk police arrested two youths - Abdur Rahman (23), hailing from Lakhipur in Cachar, and Raju Deb (28), hailing from Tripura - along a 7.56 pistol, one magazine and a live ammunition at ISBT today.

According to police, Abdur Rahman is working at Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh. He told the police that he had taken the pistol from Arunachal Pradesh. He took the pistol to the ISBT to hand it over to Deb.
