Ugratara Mohotsav From May 22 And To Witness The Installation of The Recovered Idol

GUWAHATI: After the recovery of the stolen idol, the Ugratara Devalaya is agog with activities for holding the Ugratara Mohotsav from May 22. The recovered idol will be installed at its usual place and the newly hewn idol will be installed near it.

Talking to the media in Guwahati on Sunday, Ugratara Devalaya Doloi Parameswar Sarma said: “The mohotsav will start from May 22 and conclude on May 24. While the programme will start with an Adhivas at 5.30 pm on May 22, the idols will be installed on May 23 and the mohotsav will conclude on May 24 with the holding of Satya Narayan puja.”
