GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam ordered transfer of five bureaucrats, on Wednesday. According to a notification released by the Department of Personnel, Umananda Doley has been appointed as the CEO of Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), replacing Moloy Bora, on Wednesday. Doley was the secretary to the Government of Assam, Urban Development and Guwahati Development Departments is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Guwahati Development Department for posting him as the CEO of GMDA. Moloy Bora has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Central Assam Division and Member, Board of Revenue, Assam as additional charge.

Robinson Mochahari, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Animal husbandry and Veterinary Department is posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Urban Development Department as additional charge. Ashok Kr. Barman, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Handloom, Textiles and Sericulture and Welfare of Minorities and Development Departments is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department and Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam as additional charge.
