Unemployed body condemns Karbi Anglong lynching case

GUWAHATI, June 12: The All Assam Unemployed Association (AAUA) in a communiqué on Tuesday condemned the Karbi Anglong district administration and the police for the lynching of two promising youths – Nilotpal Das and Abhijit Nath. Alleging that the deceased had to sacrifice their valuable lives due to the inoperative role of the local administration, the AAUA filed a complaint to the Chairman of the Assam Human Rights Commission demanding to award exemplary legal punishment to the culprits besides bringing the local administration under the purview of the investigation.
