Unresolved anomalies in Panchayat & Rural Development enrage unemployed youths

GUWAHATI: The Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD) Department interviews against permanent posts in Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD) Department, has released the list of selected candidates. This has created uproar among the already agitated mobs demanding probe into alleged irregularities in appointment.

The Oikya Sena Asom, at a press meet on Saturday, has demanded an in-depth inquiry into the matter. Secretary General of the Association Sahidul Islam has alleged that relatives, close and dear ones of political leaders have been given jobs in Panchayat & Rural Development Department.

He demanded that each of them should be brought under the ambit of investigations. “After the alleged examination anomalies, the government ordered a CID probe. Without making the enquiry reports public, the short listed candidates have been announced”, he complained.

Demanding a proper inquiry into the alleged job scam in Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Islam has said that before the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, the literate unemployed youths should teach BJP a lesson.
