GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I, has issued a notification making it mandatory for all affiliated schools to enter the marks of Unit Test I for Classes IX and X into the Marks Entry Portal (MEP). The deadline for submission is August 10.
The board has explicitly stated that any Class X student whose Unit Test I marks are not entered in the MEP will not be eligible to fill out the examination form for the HSLC Examination 2026.
Additionally, schools that have already submitted Class IX Half Yearly and Annual Examination marks for the 2024–25 academic session have been instructed to recheck the entries and ensure that descriptive and objective marks are entered separately. The ASSEB has made it clear that no corrections will be permitted after the final submission.
Furthermore, all schools are reminded to enter marks into the MEP following the upcoming Half Yearly, Unit Test II, and Annual/Pre-board examinations for all students.
