Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture foundation day to be celebrated at Machkhowa

GUWAHATI: The 25th foundation day of the Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture (VKIC) here will be celebrated with a two-day programme at the ITA premises at Machkhowa on April 30 and May 1. The theme of the celebration will be 'Tejasvi Bharat', the organizers said, adding that Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, treasurer & trustee of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will speak on the theme along with other dignitaries.

Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. He will also confer the VKIC Sanmaan 2022 upon Namgyal Lepcha, a tradition and culture conservationist from Sikkim, and Rothell Khongsit, a social entrepreneur and cultural communicator from Meghalaya.
