Website, app for JICA project connections

GUWAHATI: Assam's Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Ashok Singhal will launch a website and mobile application for submission of online applications for trial runs of household water supply connections under the JICA-funded Guwahati Water Supply Project.

According to Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner and Guwahati Jal Board Managing Director, Pallav Gopal Jha, the first phase will cover five 'District Metering Areas' (DMA) for trial runs of water supply.

The DMA phase will cover Amiya Nagar, Ramsa Reserve area, Rudranagar, Krishna Nagar, Holy Child school area, Milanpur, Bamunimaidam, Chandmari, Doordarshan and Irrigation colonies, Rajgarh and Pub Sarania.

Jha added that the other areas of Guwahati will be covered in the next phase.
