Woman found murdered in Kahilipara Area, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A woman, Ranju Namashudra (40), was allegedly murdered in her Sankar Nagar residence in the Kahilipara area in Guwahati. Her body, riddled with injuries inflicted with a sharp weapon, was found in the house on Thursday. According to police sources, Ranju had been with her second husband for seven years in that house. The people of the locality show her body lying on the bed when peeped through a window, and informed the police. The police took the body, and sent it to the GMCH for post-mortem. The husband of the woman, Ghanashyam Das, has been absconding.
