Woman killed at Dhirenpara in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A woman identified as Moina Boro died at her residence at Dhirenpara here on Saturday, hours after being beaten up by a youth named Naju Ali. Police sources said that the victim lived alone and the assailant, a resident of Ujjal Nagar under the Fatasil-Ambari Police Station, used to visit her frequently. Naju was arrested on Saturday night and a case (17/2023) has been registered against him, the sources said.
