A friend turned enemy

Lip service of China about disengagement and withdrawal of Army from Ladakh is now all pervasive. Far from withdrawing their Army, the Chinese Red Army consolidate their position in the areas of the Pangong lake. As if this act of treachery is not enough the Chinese Red Army is now permeating their drilling operations in the Uttarakhand border and on the outskirts of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. The most remarkable and despicable sign is the hobnobbing of Nepal with the Red Army. Till recently Nepal was a friendly neighbour of India and whenever Nepal happened to be devastated by some of its internal problems and natural calamities India always acted as a pioneer to come to the rescue. There are good chunk of Nepali population in India. Naturally India maintained a very cordial diplomatic relation with Nepal and we as a common man always harbour good feeling for Nepal. But suddenly Nepal turns hostile leaving the beaten track and started behaving in a preposterous way to antagonize India by certain provocative action which irks India. Now, the hostility reaches such a zenith point where Nepal government extends its full support to China and helps Chinese soldiers with Nepal's own army in the ongoing expedition against India. We can understand well that the Chinese ambassador in Kathmandu could influence the Prime Minister, the Cabinet ministers and top bureaucrats by her mesmerizing and tantalizing glamour so much so that the said ministers and bureaucrats are completely blind folded. They've started dancing to her tune.
