AIUDF – the Kingmaker

AIUDF – the Kingmaker

AIUDF – the Kingmaker

A political party born to save the interests of the Bangladeshis residing in Assam post the scrapping of the infamous IMDT Act by the Honorable Supreme Court is none other than the AIUDF. The indigenous people of the state never dreamt that one fine day this party would become a kingmaker kind of a thing in Assam, come 2016. The recent statements released by a few of the legislators of the AIUDF regarding the Al Qaeda threat to Assam are very alarming. The party’s persistence on delaying the NRC update, stalling the crackdown on jehadi threats, etc., reveal the nefarious designs of the party. Can our CM Tarun Gogoi again dare to repeat his famous challenge to the boss of AIUDF Badruddin Ajmal –“Who is Badruddin Ajmal?” It appears very unlikely with the assembly elections round the bend. Tarun Gogoi is in fact the real Badan Barphukan of the present day Assam!

’Chit Fund’

In the present time the ‘chit fund’ companies are taking away the hard earned money of the poor people of Assam and thereby sucking their blood by enticing the common people into keeping their money with these companies. The agents have to face wrath of the customer because the customer has no link with the company; he only knows the agent. I appeal to the government to prevail on these companies to return the hard earned money of the common people as soon as possible.
