Banking on Sindhu

PV Sindhu, the golden girl of Indian badminton, is of late going through a rough phase. Just a few months back, when she clinched her maiden World Championship title, the whole nation was euphoric. Many believed the golden era of Indian badminton has begun. However, her recent performances have painted a completely different picture. Post her world championship laurels, She has started losing in the early rounds of prestigious badminton tourneys. One can understand every athlete undergoes such dip in form, but one cannot ignore the saying ‘Form is temporary but class is permanent’. We, the ardent fans of PV Sindhu, are anxiously waiting to see the reigning world champion and 2016 Olympic silver medalist hit a purple patch soon. The yellow metal in 2020 Olympics at Tokyo is what every Indian is dreaming for PV Sindhu.
