Bihu in new curriculum

It is happy to note that the AHSEC (Assam State Educational Council) has introduced 'BIHU' as an elective subject in the curriculum from the coming academic session. It's really a remarkable decision of the State Government for the uplift of the State's rich heritage and culture.

Due to globalization and advancement of science and technology, we have lost our own culture and identity and adopt a new culture. On one hand, we are campaigning to boycott the Chinese goods and on the other, we are introducing the Chinese products in our festivals. Now, it is up to you to decide.
