Like Assam, Gujarat too is devastated by ture’s fury, with floods causing immense hardship to the people. The Gujarat government is fighting hard to tackle the problem. But the MLAs of opposition Congress are busy holidaying in a luxurious resort in Bangaluru, shirking their duties.
Congress a sinking ship!
What a heart wrenching sight to witness the villagers crying out for help, but these bunch of so-called peoples’ representatives are pampering themselves in lavish five star hotels.
The fear of Congress that their MLAs might be poached by the ruling party is quite ridiculous. It appears that there is no word called ‘moral obligations or ethics’ among today’s politicians. How come these people can be easily poached by the rival parties? If these people are so susceptible to being sold out, then one can imagine what they can do with their own people.
Assam's former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, in his usual style, has attacked the State government, alleging that the Sonowal led-dispensation is inefficient in handling or mitigating the abysmal flood situation of Assam.
People can undoubtedly raise questions regarding the government’s handling of the flood situation, but if the question comes from Tarun Gogoi, then he too owes some explations to the people of Assam as he had ruled the State for 15 consecutive years. Due to leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Tarun Gogoi, etc., Congress has become a sinking ship today.
