COVID & Aftermath

There is no denying that the entire healthcare fraternity is fighting against COVID-19 relentlessly. Slowly but steadily the world is coming to terms with it and has started to accept this as a new way of life. Researchers all over the globe are striving to come up with a vaccine. But even if a vaccine is found, the disease might stay with us forever, according to a few experts. Hence we need to coexist with this disease as we have done with other diseases in the past. Having said that what's after this? As the famous saying goes "the show must go on", so things have to start again. The economy has to open and other ancillary activities have to resume. A lot of organizations have already started to implement WFH (work from home) as a part of their work culture. Online delivery businesses have started using contactless delivery of items to the customers. Businesses will have to undergo a radical transformation in these trying times and the ones which will adapt quickly will survive.

On an ending note, this pandemic has wrought enormous personal, economic and social damage. Many countries have gone into recession that was never seen in decades though gradually they are crawling back to recovery. Wrapping our heads around this situation has been very difficult. But there is always a new beginning and let's hope we all return to our normal lives soon.
