Discrimition against PSU employees

I would like to draw the kind attention of the Chief Minister as well as the Fince Minister of Assam towards the revision of pay of PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) employees, as the government contemplated to provide salary and other benefits to State government employees under the provision of Assam Services (ROP) Rules, 2017 with effect from April 1, 2017 and arrears with effect from April 4, 2016.

Accordingly, the State government employees are being provided monthly salary with effect from April 1, 2017, which is a very appreciable move made by the government.

Besides, it has also embarked on some attractive welfare schemes for artistes and people based on their economic status as well as for their contribution towards the society.

But, it is very unfortute that due to no such specific instruction in the Assam Services (ROP) Rules, 2017, as well as citing the reason of fincial position of the PSUs --- the authorities concerned are reluctant to provide salary and other benefits to its employees on par with State government employees, while the authorities concerned of PSUs are deriving all facilities as per Assam Services (ROP) rules, 2017.

Hence, it is the prime duty of the government to provide salary and other benefit to PSU employees like the State government employees, under the provision of ROP Rules, sans division and discrimition.

Therefore, through your esteemed daily it's my humble request to the government to introspect into the matter of revision of pay for PSU employees.
