Disgrace to the tion

The sportspersons are making us proud in the intertiol scerio, be it badminton, cricket, hockey, boxing or football. The recent success of PV Sindhu in the World Badminton Championship at Glasgow and now in BWF Super Series in South Korea is truly commendable. The Men in Blue annihilated Sri Lankans in the recently concluded bilateral cricket series. But what about our elected lawmakers? These people are not only bringing disrepute to the electorates but are in fact a disgrace to the tion. They want all the power, privilege and comfort, but without any responsibility. The so-called lawmakers do not even hesitate to hijack the all-important Parliament session, thus causing loss of hefty amount from tiol exchequer.
