Falling flat on Rafale

Falling flat on Rafale

Rahul Gandhi’s jibe at his political rival Narendra Modi accusing him of wrongdoing in the purchase of Rafale fighter jets has been rejected by the Supreme Court. The (in)famous line of Rahul Gandhi ‘Chowkidar chor hain’ in the run up to general elections 2019 against Prime Minister Modi has now been shown up as null and void. In the last days of the tenure of Justice Ranjan Gogoi as CJI, the Supreme Court cleared Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government of all charges in the Rafale deal. This is another setback for the immature Congress leader who speaks without doing his homework. Such humiliation has negative impact on grassroots workers who have seen their leader falling flat on one issue after another. It is another matter that Rahul Gandhi continues to be unapologetic to the people, but If this continues, very soon he will be doing irreparable harm to his image and that of his party’s.
