How earth gets healed

It is of profound grief of the inhuman act in Kerala where a pregnant elephant has been brutally killed. It's shocking, how the thought of feeding a hungry elephant with pineapple laden with crackers could come to their mind? It is rightly said, "If animals could talk mankind would cry".

How sickening it has been for us to be confined at home for just two months. I just keep wondering as to how animals are forcefully caged in zoos for their entire life just for the sake of human entertainment. As humans, animals too are the creation of the Nature and we have no right to exploit them for our benefit or inflict any pain to them.

Dehing Patkai in Assam is considered as the 'Amazon of the East'. However, it hits headlines these days on the move to mine coal. It may lead to massive destruction of Nature. It is high time humans got rid of their insatiable appetite or else they should get ready to face the music in the form of coronovirus, locusts attack, cyclone like Amphan and Nisarga. By now humans should realize that natural disasters are Mother Earth's own ways to heal herself.
