Issue of pay slips of Gazetted Officers

I would like to ventilate through your esteemed daily a burning issue of Gazetted Officers under Government of Assam who are drawing their monthly salaries on the strength of pay slips issued by the Accountant General (A & E), Assam, Guwahati. The above category officers are yet to get their pay slips to draw pay and allowances under RoP (Revision of Pay) rules 2017 w.e.f. April 1, 2016 due to non-issuance of pay slips by the Accountant General (A & E)'s office, causing hardship and inconvenience to them.

It appears that the office of the Accountant General (A & E) is not serious and sincere in this regard this year. The office staff of Accountant General (A & E) office does not respond to this issue on time. I, therefore, request the Accountant General (A & E), Assam, to take up the issue seriously and take necessary steps for early issuance of pay slips so that the officers concerned can get their salaries with increment and re-fixation in the month of August, 2017.
