The proposed Ram Mandir

As per reports, the State government has allotted certain bighas of land in Guwahati for construction of a Ram Mandir. As this news got air, a section of 'secularists' have immediately questioned the Government of pursuing Hindutva agenda. At the same breathe, questions were thrown at the Government why no masjid is constructed simultaneously. These same breed of animals never question the authority when big masjids are constructed across the nook and corner of the State. Even in remote places for example Barpeta district one would see huge masjids being built in short intervals. We have never seen any violent protest from the pseudo secularists when roadside constructed mandirs are demolished by the authority. In fact, we support the authorities concerned for demolishing the illegally constructed temples along roadside. Secularism which was added to the Constitution by Indira Gandhi is a weapon used by the secular cronies against Hindus. Coming to the proposed Ram Mandir, our Muslim brothers and sisters have not objected to the construction, it is the Leftists who ignite the fire in the minds of people so as to serve their communal purpose.

Creativity to motivate the youths

A society is imprisoned when it loses touch with its creative side. It is likely that people living in that society are closed-minded. It is creativity that broadens the perspectives of the youths and can help them overcome prejudices.

It has immense contribution to the competency, values, attitudes and characteristics we want to nurture in others to grow as global citizens. Creativity not only engages the mind but also frees it in a way that enables the youths to absorb knowledge more easily. It can motivate them through alternative ways of thinking and unblocking the old patterns or habits of thinking. Creativity can undoubtedly be instrumental to motivate today's youth as it opens their hearts and doors as well as to their mind. It brings them to the hidden parts of themselves.

Last but not the least, creativity alone can build up confidence and instills curiosity into their minds. While engaging with creativity, the youths can explore, discover and communicate instead of passively listening to or absorbing. Creativity does support the youths to be more active and present as members of society.

The farmers of Punjab and Haryana are protesting against the three new farm laws. It's been over a month and that deadlock refuses to unlock. The 'superman', Rahul Gandhi, his elder sister along with his mother are all shedding crocodile tears. I just want to rewind the anti-Sikh riots tapes before the trio. The brutality which was unleashed by the Gandhis and their loyal cronies still send shock waves through the spine of many. The punishment meted out to the entire Sikh community just because of two murderers of Indira Gandhi happened to be Sikh. Now, the grandchildren and daughter in law are busy trying to take political mileage out of the protesting peasants (not sure whether those are original farmers or middlemen). Here in Assam, Ripun Bora and other senior leaders of the party organized a rally on January 16 in Guwahati in support of those protesting peasants but the majority of the people who turned out in that rally were their loyal votebank, the illegally entered foreigners who were provided with all the necessary legal documents by the Congress. It is also a worrying signal for Raijor Dol and AJP that they are yet to confirm the linguistic religious breed as elections are merely 100 days to go. Lurinjyoti Gogoi (AJP) and Kamal Medhi (Raijor Dol) have to work more to woo the trustable votes of the Congress into their camp.

Utterly confused

The Honorable Supreme Court in a recent order stayed the three farm laws passed by the Central government. The farms laws had to have clear nod of both the Houses of the Parliament, which the Union government did. As par with my limited knowledge, the Supreme Court can stay any laws passed by the Central government if it violates the Constitution of India. Can anyone clarify if the said farm laws were in direct violation or not under the ambit of Constitution of India?

Farmers' agitation

Huge sums of money are being spent on ongoing farmers' agitation in and around Delhi for last more than 50 days. With heavy funds spent on providing extra luxurious facilities revealing that either the agitation is funded by non farmers (middlemen and foreign agencies) or by our extra rich farmers habitual of living in such extra luxury and affording to invest heavily on the agitation.

On the contrary, most Indians are poor. Even mute category of taxpaying middle-income people cannot even dream of such luxury. It is totally unfair and illogical that middle income honest persons have to bear taxation dose to bear cost at public exchequer to tackle such agitations heavily funded by extra super rich farmers beneficiary of totally tax free agricultural income.

Best is that Central government may unconditionally withdraw all the agricultural legislations (old or new) freeing farmers to adopt any mode of sale of their agricultural produce as per their sweet maintaining Minimum Support Price (MSP) only. But at the same time, Income Tax may be levied on agricultural income as per exemption limit and tax rates for other people. This will in turn abolish large-scale tax evasion by hi-fi politicians and known celebrities decorated with national honours turning their black money in white by showing it as tax free agricultural income as produce from their luxurious farm houses or infertile land purchased at throwaway price just to show agricultural produce for claiming tax-free income. Taxing agricultural income will in no way affect ordinary farmers because of basic exemption limit of rupees five lakh from Income Tax and lower tax slab for next rupees five lakh.

CBI officials booked

CBI officials booked for graft by the Central probe agency were not only receiving regular kickbacks for investigation but were also acting as conduits to bribe their peers on behalf of companies accused of siphoning off crores of public money from banks.

It is a serious matter. Government and public should raise their voice against corruption and solve the issue forever.
