Arushi's murder mystery: Justice denied

It is unfortute that the investigating agencies failed to il the culprit or culprits in Aarushi Talwar murder case due to lack of evidence. Unfortutely, even after nine years of trial — the culprit is roaming freely. Until now, only political cases lacked evidence. Now, the same seems to be true for non-political cases too! Did Aarushi die a tural death? If no, who murdered her? If the investigating agencies cannot find the answer, who can? All the investigating agencies must pledge to discharge their duty more vigilantly and honestly and unravel the murder mystery; the persons behind this murder roaming freely will encourage more to commit such crimes.

Ban on fire-crackers

Through your esteemed daily, I would like to appeal to people to give up bursting fire-crackers during Diwali so that people, particularly, children and senior citizens, may go outside and breathe without difficulty, taking in view the rise in air and sound pollution due to bursting of fire-crackers. The Supreme Court has already banned sale of fire-crackers in Delhi and NCR. I would also like to request the State government and administration to carry out extensive awareness programme against this practice.
