Fraudulent activities by Reliance

Reliance has asked its customers to port their mobile numbers to other service providers. Being one of the users of Reliance number (Assam Circle), I have applied for Mobile Number Portability from Reliance to Vodafone. It's been more than a month and there is no formal communication from any service provider related to the status of my MNP. When I asked Vodafone people, they said that my application is rejected due to wrong port code. In spite of giving all information and bill payment, Reliance is giving trouble to its old customers. Reliance used to charge security money when post-paid connection was taken but they are not mentioning about returning those amounts. Reliance Communication is giving trouble to its customers. Is the government authority aware of it? I would like to appeal to the concerned authority to make some provision to help out the existing customers to get their portability as soon as possible. No communication for more than a month is a problem for each and every one us. Reliance or any other service provider must be transparent in the process and they must inform customers about the status of any application. It is difficult to locate any office of Reliance to get update which means they are not transparent with the customers. I have paid bills to Reliance without getting any service from them. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India should intervene and help out the customers to get numbers portability at the earliest.

Ivanka's visit to India

United States President Dold Trump's adviser and daughter Ivanka Trump,  who is not the head of a State or government, has become the first foreign women leader to get the unparalleled hype, publicity and tightest security cover in Hyderabad.

The only other time after Independence a women leader of a foreign country received such a rousing welcome in Hyderabad was in February 1992 when Princess Dia toured the city. Queen Elizabeth also was in Hyderabad in November 1983, but she visited the city in her capacity as the Queen of United Kingdom. The Queen got the grand reception mandated for the Head of a State. Incidentally, Ivanka is the only woman leader not related to the British royalty to receive wide publicity and a security cover, meticulously chalked out at the highest level.

Ivanka's visit to India may be considered as a sign of good relations between India and United States. While Ivanka was all praise for Prime Minister rendra Modi's leadership and asserted that India now had a "true friend" in the White House, Modi affirmed that the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 connected America's Silicon Valley with Hyderabad and urged global entrepreneurs to make and invest in India. We hope, Ivanka Trump's visit will strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
