Har Ghar Tiranga

The recent fervent appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his countrymen to hoist our tiranga in every house from August 13 without fail to mark the 75th Independence Day will instill a sense of patriotism, love and loyalty to their motherland. Our Chief Minister also made the same appeal to all bonafide Asomiyas to do the same. But alas, as usual it did not go well with our compulsive secular opposition, even though the appeal was done with all patriotic fervour. The secular opposition smelt politics in the PM's appeal. Instances are galore when the same opposition did not raise their voice when the then Jammu and Kashmir PDP government under Mehbooba Mufti refused to hoist the Tricolour in Lal Chowk of Srinagar. We do not need to have terror outfits across the border to bleed us as we have numerous sleeper cells active within the territory with their loyalty to Pakistan, Bangladesh and China.
