Spreading lies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi got a new Mercedes-Maybach armoured vehicle which is an upgrade from earlier Range Rover Vogue. While on his tour to Hyderabad, he was spotted while welcoming Russian President Vladimir Putin. The car offers the highest level of armoured protection available on a car, which can withstand bullets thanks to the upgraded windows and body shell and can take an assault from AK-47 rifles. Immediately, the hate-mongers spread lies that the new vehicle cost Rs 12 crore. The actual fact is Rs 3 crore. Secondly, the power of choosing the car for the Prime Minister of India lies with the Special Protection Group (SPG), which is under the Ministry of Home, Government of India. Another point is that persons with SPG security like PM and ex PMs need to change the car once every six years and in the case of Prime Minister Narendra Modi he has already used his previous car for eight years. When he came to power in 2014, he was offered Range Rover Vogue.

In the case of the latest purchase, SPG chose this model of Mercedes because the production of the previously used BMW model has stopped. This explanation is not for the Modi haters or for the Modi bhakts (supporters) but to clear the Indians who might be misled by the lies of false propaganda gangs.

Sam Bahadur, the unsung hero

The funeral of the first CGS General Bipin Rawat as witnessed by all across the nation once again simply proves the faith and love of the common people (except a few handfuls) towards our armed forces. All patriotic Indians mourned his untimely death and cried their heart out. But very sadly I remember yet another great war hero, named SAM BAHADUR MANEKSHAW who died unsung during the UPA regime under Manmohan Singh, the then PM of India. It was entirely FIELD-MARSHAL MANEKSHAW's strategic moves that brought the Pakistani army to their knees. Most, unfortunately, SAM BAHADUR's dues was withheld by the then PM Indira Gandhi for years only to be later cleared by the then President of India APJ Kalam. It was during APJ Kalam's visit to see an ailing Sam Manekshaw in a hospital when the Missile Man came to know about the story. The Missile Man immediately cleared the dues of the First Field Marshal which were pending for a long time.

Any way Rahul Gandhi's presence to offer floral tributes to mortal remains of General Bipin Rawat was a welcome sight, whom one of his partymen had called the General a street goon, who went unpunished.

Read India

It is welcome to note that the Union Ministry of Education and Skill Development has initiated the 'Padhe Bharat' reading campaign. The 100 Days Reading Campaign is a vital step in improving students' learning levels since it fosters creativity, critical thinking, vocabulary, and the ability to express oneself verbally and in writing. It aids children in making connections with their surroundings and real-life events. All stakeholders at the national and state levels, including children, teachers, parents, the community, and educational authorities, are encouraged to participate in the reading campaign. Children can complete the activities with the assistance of instructors, parents, peers, siblings, or other family members. The need of the hour is for our society to provide more resources for reading in order to improve children's and teenagers' intellectual abilities, skills and knowledge.
