It is known from print and electronic media that  the Education Department of Assam is going to establish 22 model colleges in different places of the State in the me of Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay. It cannot say that it is doing so simply because Dindayal Upadhyay is not much known to the Assamese people. As such, it would be better to me one or two institutes after his me instead of all, as some individuals and organisations oppose the same, considering it a matter of  public sentiment. I would, therefore, like to request the State government to look into the matter.
